Congratulations to Mike Tall who beat the pack to first place overall in his Mitsubishi Mirage. The fast flowing wide road tested all the drivers (and co-drivers) bravery all day.
We combined forces with our friends at Ashburton Car Club and we included their Upper Downs Rd Gravel Sprint on Saturday March 6th in our Autosport Championship. That’s right. Autosport members gained points towards the Autosport overall and sprint championships. Cross carts and clubman’s entries that are restricted to 4.5km are not eligible for Autosport points. It was a double-header weekend with our very own Pipers Valley Rd Gravel Sprint the next day.
