11 May – Toast & Roast Graham Wilson

Come along to show your thanks and appreciation to our selfless and humble club president and hear some stories of his antics over the years from friends and family.

Graham has over the years and still does give an incredible amount of his personal time to the sport we love, rallying. Take this opportunity to show your thanks to one of the pillars of our sport, without whom many would not be competing today if it wasn’t for his immense efforts.

This is our popular main social event for the year. Don’t miss it!

Free nibbles provided. All are welcome to attend, you don’t have to be a club member.

7:30pm Lone Star, Manchester St, Christchurch.

Happy at the wheel of his 1300cc Suzuki Swift powered Toyota Starlet, Graham is a veteran rally driver with many gravel-bashing miles under his belt. He is always at the pointy end of Class 1 0-1300cc and is very hard to beat.

Graham showing no signs of slowing down and gets massive air at the famous concrete ford jump at the Royce Watson Memorial Hanmer Rally 2015 with co-driver and daughter Leanne Jolly enjoying the wild ride.

On this stage Graham’s rallying apprentice Chris Herdman held the lead by only a handful of seconds. So flat out through the Ford was the order of the day. Graham did win the stage from Chris but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to take the class win.
