Description: The Stadium Cars Canterbury Rally was a great success. Congratulations to Matt Summerfield Ralli-Sport on winning the event, their maiden overall rally win. 48 cars started the rally with 32 crossing the finish line after 9 special stages of high-speed competition in the North Canterbury Ashley and Okuku Forests. The rally kicked off with some rare and exciting night stages where most drivers suffered visibility problems with dust. Canterbury Rally 2012 was a National status Rally and the final round of the Mainland Series. The rally comprised of approx. 159km of Special Stages and 208km of Touring.
