Description: What a great day we had, our last for 2012. Congratulations to Matt Summerfield for taking out 1st Overall over the 3km forestry road. The day ran very smoothly and it was rather special that Hayden Paddon competed on his way back to New Zealand from overseas and participated as a co-driver as well. Had many comments about how good he was talking to everyone and how “grounded” he is. Great to see. A big thank you to Chris Herdman for being Clerk of Course at such short notice and it being his first event other than organising Autocrosses. Barny get well soon – we missed you. Graham – hope you had a nice time in Auckland. Thanks everyone for pulling together without these two rocks and making this a great day out. Of course thanks to the competitors too.
