DESCRIPTION:Michael Tall won the event in 2024 \nBased in North Canterbury\, Woods Road had not been run before as a sprint in 2024 so a level playing field and a new challenge for everyone. Despite not being run before the level of enthusiasm for the new road was very high \nEntries are now Open for Wood Road gravel Sprint on 9th of May 2026! Great shakedown for Canterbury rally\, Will be run same as last year in one direction allowing for double drivers and double entries for maximum km \nPDF –  2026-05-09 Woods Rd Gravel Sprint Regs \nDOC –2026-05-09 Woods Rd Gravel Sprint Regs\nEntries open with the publication of these regulations and close at 5pm Thursday 7th May.\n \nEntries via motorsport NZ – https://online.motorsport.org.nz/msnzprofile/login  \nThe course was approximately 4.5 km of gravel road\, with a hard base. The first third of the course is on a flat open section with few corners before it starts to climb. There are some challenging corners here as it passes adjacent to a small forestry block before proceeding down a gradual downhill with wide sweeping corners before finishing on the flat
