DESCRIPTION:Our first event for 2023 will be on Sunday 22nd January 2023 Grass Autocross\, regs and details below. This will be the first event of the Autosport 2023 Championship\n\n\n \n\n\nGrab a car and have some fun racing around a grass paddock! Rally Tyres are allowed\n\n \n2023-01-22nd Autocross Grass Darfield Regs\n \nDirections: From Darfield continue on main West Coast Road for approximately 6.3km\, turn left into Auchenflower Road. Follow this to the intersection of Deans Road (approximately 3 km). Cross over Deans Road and continue to signposted gate on the left.\n \nAutosport Club Starlet: Any young driver who wishes to use the Autosport Club Starlet\, please contact Daniel Males 027 367 7801 prior to the event to book. Any new young driver that has not previously used the car\, will take first priority.\n \n\nReminder for Autocross events:\n– $40.00 including GST per competitor.\n– Anybody is welcome to join in (you don’t need to be a club member).\n– Autosport Club rules for Autocross can be found in section 3 of our Club Championship Articles\nhttp://www.autosport.org.nz/…/Autosport-Championship…\n\n\n– It’s incredibly cheap fun and great way to becoming a better driver on the road.\n– Bring your mates and find out who is the true\, fastest driver among you.\n– Car must meet Schedule A of the Motorsport NZ Manual. WOF or Motorsport NZ logbook is ideal. Often small\, automatic road cars are hard to beat!\n– You must have 100% cotton or approved flame proof overalls according to Schedule A of the Motorsport NZ Manual.\n– You must have a Motorsport NZ approved helmet.
